Birthmark

If you look at this birthmark upside-down, it looks like Taiwan. Don't know what to make of this, but could it be related to the fact that his dad lived there for three years?? Probably not.

Big Sister / Little Brother

Liya just wants to hold her little brother ... pretty much all the time. She likes to sing to him.

Welcome Kai!

Jonathan Kai Wilson was born this morning at 7:53am at Los Alamitos Medical Center in Los Alamitos, CA. He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and looks alot like his big sister. Mother and baby are are doing fine. More pics to come ...

我决心做中文推妈了

昨天晚上Scott给Liya读书，突然带着娃跑出来，说Liya, show mama what you can do.
然后指着Dinosaurs，Dinosaurs这本书的最后一页上问Liya，what's this？Liya回答
Tyrannosaurs rex, 又问了另一个，Liya答 Triceratops， 又问了一个，Liya答：
Stegosaurus。

天哪，我一个词也不知道啊。。。

这本书是胜兰刚给寄过来的，吴农给她就读了两三次。这几个词是后面最后一页象个附录一样
，但是Liya问，吴农就给她读了，没想到就记住了。

我很受刺激，决定从今天起不对Liya说蹩脚英文了，小孩子的语言潜力大得让人吃惊，
不鼓励她学中文是太大的浪费了！我决心做中文推妈了！

I love November !

C-section is rescheduled to the 18th. My maternity leave started yesterday, the first. A lot of nesting to do. haha.

Everything started nice and normal...

Until....My fearless daughter: We thought she would stop in the middle, but she kept on climbing until we couln't do anything to interfere.

No picture of "during slide" because mommy and daddy were both too scared. The following is just to show how tall the slide is, and everything is fine.

The biggest changes goes to Liya. She went from 6lbs15oz, 18in 3/4 to today's 32lbs, 35.5in.

8月过得好快啊！有个小计划，以后每个月记录一下每月大事发给老朋友们，这个月写了点还没完成就懒下来了。

Good news (1): My 1 hour glucose tolerance test is normal! No need to suffer the 3-hour-test!
(2) Scott's third peer review paper got accepted! Hope he will get the tenure smoothly next summer!
(3) Small good news: we sold our old sofa on craiglist for 220. haha.

Life is good: TV+peanut butter
